Gamers can immerse themselves in a digital world uninterrupted with these earbuds equipped with Telink technology.
Gaming headsets have always stood out among TWS headsets with their sleek appearance and ultra-low latency capabilities. Edifier recently released its Hecate GX05 true wireless gaming earbuds, fitted with RGB lighting effects to emphasize its futuristic design and technology. In addition, the earbuds come with a 2.4G adapter, providing them with lower latency and a more esports-like experience.
Recently, 52Audio disassembled the Hecate GX05 Ultra-Low Latency Wireless Gaming Earbuds from Edifier and found that the earbuds and adapter use Telink’s TLSR9516A and TLSR9517B multi-standard wireless SoCs, respectively. The two chips are combined with Edifier’s Flash Speed ultra-low latency transmission technology to achieve ultra-low latency wireless transmission, providing a virtually delay-free audio experience.
The Hecate GX05 true wireless gaming earbuds from Edifier is equipped with Flash Speed third-generation 2.4G ultra-low latency transmission technology. It also supports Bluetooth® technology and dual-mode online to adapt to various gaming scenarios. Fitted with an ultra-broadband titanium-coated composite unit, it has a high-frequency extension of up to 40kHz and ultra-high resolution. It also passes the Hi-Res Audio certification and supports LHDC 5.0 codec technology. The total battery life exceeds 16 hours, supports 2C fast charging, and can be used for an hour after just 10 minutes of charging.
By disassembling the Hecate GX05 true wireless gaming earbuds from Edifier, 52Audio found that the motherboard uses Telink’s TLSR9516A multi-standard wireless audio SoC, which supports 2.4G Proprietary and Bluetooth 5.3 dual mode connectivity, and integrates the features required for high-quality wireless audio devices onto a single chip.
Telink’s TLSR9516A multi-standard wireless audio SoC supports Bluetooth 5.3, Basic Data Rate (BR), Enhanced Data Rate (EDR), Bluetooth® LE Audio, and proprietary wireless protocols.
Telink’s TLSR9516A combines 32-bit RISC-V MCU, DSP, 2.4GHz ISM radio, 256KB SRAM, 2MB flash memory, audio codec, AUX ADC, analog and digital microphones inputs, PWM, flexible IO interfaces, and other peripheral modules required for advanced audio applications. It also includes a multi-level power management design to support ultra-low power operation.
Within the GX05 adapter, Telink’s TLSR9517B multi-standard wireless audio SoC integrates a powerful 32-bit RISC-V MCU, DSP, 2.4GHz ISM radio, 256KB SRAM, 1MB Flash, stereo audio codec, AUX ADC, analog and digital microphone inputs, PWM, flexible IO interface, and other peripheral modules required for advanced audio applications to support ultra-low power operation, making it a perfect choice for wearable and power-constrained applications.
Telink’s TLSR9517B multi-standard wireless SoC meets industry alliance specifications and supports the standards set by Bluetooth® 5.3, Basic Data Rate (BR), Enhanced Data Rate (EDR), Bluetooth® LE Audio, and proprietary protocols. TLSR9517B works with TLSR9516A within the earbuds to achieve ultra-low wireless transmission latency.
Like TLSR9516A, the TLSR9517B SoC includes a multi-level power management design to support ultra-low power operation.
The Hecate GX05 true wireless gaming earbuds from Edifier is equipped with Flash Speed ultra-low latency transmission technology and a 2.4GHz connection to facilitate a stable connection and lower latency experience. Upon dissembling the earbuds, 52Audio discovered that the device uses wireless SoCs from Telink, which integrates competitive features that enhance the performance of this product.
