Edifier Hecate GX05 Earbuds

Gamers can immerse themselves in a digital world uninterrupted with these earbuds equipped with Telink technology.

Gaming headsets have always stood out among TWS headsets with their sleek appearance and ultra-low latency capabilities. Edifier recently released its Hecate GX05 true wireless gaming earbuds, fitted with RGB lighting effects to emphasize its futuristic design and technology. In addition, the earbuds come with a 2.4G adapter, providing them with lower latency and a more esports-like experience.

Recently, 52Audio disassembled the Hecate GX05 Ultra-Low Latency Wireless Gaming Earbuds from Edifier and found that the earbuds and adapter use Telink’s TLSR9516A and TLSR9517B multi-standard wireless SoCs, respectively. The two chips are combined with Edifier’s Flash Speed ultra-low latency transmission technology to achieve ultra-low latency wireless transmission, providing a virtually delay-free audio experience.

Edifier Hecate GX05 Earbud set

The Hecate GX05 true wireless gaming earbuds from Edifier is equipped with Flash Speed third-generation 2.4G ultra-low latency transmission technology. It also supports Bluetooth® technology and dual-mode online to adapt to various gaming scenarios. Fitted with an ultra-broadband titanium-coated composite unit, it has a high-frequency extension of up to 40kHz and ultra-high resolution. It also passes the Hi-Res Audio certification and supports LHDC 5.0 codec technology. The total battery life exceeds 16 hours, supports 2C fast charging, and can be used for an hour after just 10 minutes of charging.

Disassembled Edifier Hecate GX05 earbuds

By disassembling the Hecate GX05 true wireless gaming earbuds from Edifier, 52Audio found that the motherboard uses Telink’s TLSR9516A multi-standard wireless audio SoC, which supports 2.4G Proprietary and Bluetooth 5.3 dual mode connectivity, and integrates the features required for high-quality wireless audio devices onto a single chip.
