ATE Test Engineer

City: Shanghai

Job requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Developing test program and hardware on the ATE (Automated Testing Equipment) for characterization and production testing of SoC semiconductor devices.
  • Be able to utilize the ATE equipment tools and capabilities to optimize its performance to minimize the cost of test without compromising the quality of outgoing products.
  • Develop test plans for qualification, characterization and manufacturing.
  • Implement test programs including test hardware design, test pattern conversion, test methods construction or improvement , etc.
  • Interface with test equipment vendor/test house on test program implementation and troubleshooting production test issues.
  • Analyze test results and work with designers and product engineers on qualification and characterization reports.
  • Assist device failure analysis as required to resolve device-related problems.
  • Work with product engineers on yield analysis and other yield enhancement engineering activities to provide support to new product introduction and mass production.
  • Work closely with internal groups and foundry partners on productivity improvement and cost reduction activities such as test time reduction and multi-site development & implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or above degree in EE (or a related discipline).
  • 2+ years of Experience in ASIC/DSP/MCU test required.
  • Familiarity with test development for RF transceiver, PLL, ADC, DAC, etc.
  • Familiarity with test theory of digital and analog circuit.
  • Familiarity with DXP or cadence PCB tool desired.
  • Experience with ATE testers such as, 93k,10, V50, Teradyne J750,etc.
  • Excellent C/C++, Perl and UNIX shell script programming skills.
